Solo Flight

Was going through my portfolio and stumbled upon this shot I took a several years ago.  I remember sharing this to a friend who printed it on canvas and hung it up in the bedroom wall.  I suppose there’s a sense a calmness and serenity whenever you look at the picture.

The kite may be a little dark.  But click on the image for a better view to appreciate it.

Happy weekend everyone!

Travel Journal: Iceland

Waterfall 2

Fire and Ice.  That’s the theme of the tour.  Given the cold 4-8 degrees Celsius weather in mid-May, I’d say mostly ice.  But no matter how cold, it’s the best trip yet!  Lots of landscape to shoot.  But for this trip, I decided to travel light…  opting for a mirrorless camera over DSLR.  And I have to say, my back isn’t complaining this time around.

Fish Therapy

Besides photography, another hobby that I have is keeping an aquarium.  This is my latest project and I have to say, it’s the best one I’ve done so far.

Canadian Landscapes

One of the best places to visit in Canada is definitely the Canadian Rockies in Alberta and British Columbia.  With just a couple of days, I was able to visit a number of popular tourist sites within Banff National Park and Yoho National Park.  Even if it is summer, temperatures drop to about 7 degrees Celsius!  Brrr!  Too cold for this tropical dude!  Definitely under prepared but I was determined to take a few landscapes photos and here are my favorites.
