Magnificent mid-autumn moon tonight…. its orange hue exudes a sense of mystery and tranquility… amidst the hustle and bussle streets of Singapore.
Shot this scene over a span of 10-15 minutes, after which clouds started to cover the moon. Its almost impossible to capture this scene in one single frame. If you can get the exposure of the moon correctly, the foreground will be totally black. And if you exposed the foreground correctly, the moon is totally overexposed. The simple solution: shoot the scene in two frames and overlay both images in post-processing. It took me about 15 minutes to do the post processing. Its not perfect. But it does recreate the same scene that inspired me to go and grab my camera for this shoot!
