What a way to start 2012! Today, Nikon Corporation announced the release of the Nikon D4, a Nikon FX-format camera that serves as the new flagship model in Nikon’s lineup of digital-SLR cameras.
Those who know me know that I am a Nikon shooter. So, it doesn’t come as a surprise that I am posting this just to show how ecstatic I was to learn about the D4.
However, the real excitement is not that D4 is finally here…. but, is that the D800 is coming very soon!
Given the hefty price tag of hi-end pro DSLRs like the D4 as well as its predecessors D3s and D3, the D800 is long awaited replacement of the more affordable D700. Anyway, more on that when D800 is out. For now, here is a short product video of the D4 courtesy of Nikon Australia.
